Structural mechanics

Structural challenges can be found all over our world. No matter whether it is a smartphone, an internal combustion engine or a modern wind turbine for power generation.

Every object that does its job anywhere in the world is exposed to mechanical stress. If only one single component fails, this can have fatal consequences. When the cargo door was suddenly torn out of the anchorage during United Airlines Flight 811 in 1989 at an altitude of 6900m, an incorrectly designed locking mechanism was responsible for this. This development error cost the lives of nine people and put 343 others in danger of death.

Fortunately, the effects of insufficiently dimensioned components are usually less severe in everyday life. But what remains in any case is economic damage for those affected.

A damaged or even endangered customer is a dissatisfied customer.
A dissatisfied customer is often a lost customer!

Modern structural-mechanical analysis is able to simulate the loads of individual components up to complex systems and make their effects visible. It helps the calculation engineer to recognize and understand the dangers and risks of a design at an early stage. It therefore makes a significant contribution to improving the functional safety and reliability of the resulting products.

AdSimuTec GmbH offers you structural-mechanical simulations as an engineering service in the following areas:
